From the moment someone receives an SMS, how long can the person take to click on the message and attribute the sale (if any) to Umbrella, what is the attribution window?
Umbrella attributes the purchase to the SMS only if the purchase is done in the same session after clicking the link and redirecting to the website. If they close the window and come back again organically, the sale will not be attributed.
However, Umbrella doesn’t limit the time frame when the customer can click the link. The customer can click the link from the older message, and if they purchase in the same session, the sale will be attributed to the message. In such a case, Google Analytics shows revenue attribution to the messages sent in previous months.
